CS371p Spring 2021 : Nhat Minh Nguyen

Where did you grow up?

I was born in Vietnam, then my family moved to the US in 2017.

Why did you come to UT?

High ranking of UT’ academy, life and nature in Austin.

Why are you majoring in CS?

I enjoy communicating with computers and the way of telling a computer to do what we want is really attractive to me.

How much C++ do you already know?

I learned C++ when I took a Programming Introduction class at my community college. I just know basic stuffs about C++ so far but I like it better than JAVA.

How did you like the two lectures?

I really like the last two lectures. Professor Downing walked us through a lot of interesting stuffs which are very useful and up-to-date. I especially like he talking about how he built his own docker image.

How did you feel about the cold calling?

I have not experienced the cold calling but I think this is just a way of him to help students in focusing on the lectures so we should not be stress about it.
